About Me

Anita Maksimiuk is a printmaker working in stone lithography, screen-print and intaglio. She is a first-generation American born and raised in Brooklyn. Motivated by love, rage, and adventure by way of endurance, she lives and works in gorgeous Tucson, Arizona.

Anita’s work is driven by the historic promise of the American Dream, urban upheaval and the importance of image as both document and memento. Her process combines print media, working its landscape back into existence by hand. Her prints have been exhibited throughout the United States and traveled as far as Kyiv, Ukraine.
